AN/APG-77 The AN/APG-77 will provide F/A-22 pilots with
unprecedented capability in air-to-air combat, allowing pilots
to track and engage multiple threat aircraft before adversary
radar detect the F/A-22. The radar employs an active,
electronically-scanned antenna (AESA) featuring a separate
transmitter and receiver for each of the antenna's radiating
elements to provide the agility, low radar cross section, and
wide bandwidth.

Longbow
The Longbow Fire Control Radar and its weapons counterpart, the
radar-guided, "fire and forget" Longbow Hellfire missile, enable
the potent Apache attack helicopter to detect, classify, and
prioritize ground targets day or night, in poor weather and
obscured conditions. The system then enables attack of those
targets with pinpoint accuracy from ranges that safeguard the
lives of the aircrew.

Viper
Strike Submunition The Vehicular Intercommunications
System (VIS), enables wired and wireless voice communications
between crew members of combat vehicles. Unattended ground
sensor uses acoustic and seismic signals to monitor the
battlefield and provide timely intelligence of vehicle movements
and intrusions.

ESAXXI
ESAXXI is a low-cost, lightweight fire-control radar used for
surveillance and target acquisition for armored vehicles. It
detects both air and ground targets and contains a monopulse
ground mapping system. |

Network-centric Warfare Northrop Grumman offers
world-class expertise in tactical data link (TDL) technology for
C41SR network-centric warfare. These systems enable secure,
seamless information exchange across all elements of the Global
Information Grid. Our advanced solutions ensure that vital
information goes where and when it's needed with total security.
These systems include tactical data link (TDL) gateway
processors; simulators; common link integration processors for
aircraft, naval vessels, and ground vehicles; and mission
management control software for satellite ground stations. |

JTE
The Joint Threat Emitter (JTE) is a multi-threat, high-fidelity
simulator, which simulates both single and double digit
Surface-to-Air and Anti-Aircraft Artillery radar systems. JTE
accurately trains combat aircrew to defeat or avoid Integrated
Air Defense Systems around the world in a war-like training
environment. JTE will replace most threat emitter systems on
USAF and ANG training ranges. It offers true warfighter training
for the combat pilot. |

Fiber-Optic Gyro Inertial Navigation System Northrop
Grumman's newest fiber-optic gyro inertial navigation system,
the LN-260, has been selected by the US Navy as part of an
avionics cost savings and reliability improvement kit for their
F-5 Tiger II Adversary Fleet Support Fighter. The system
replaces five legacy components comprising the navigation,
navigation controls, and radar display functions with two
state-of-the-art line replaceable units. The LN-260 is a
completely integrated navigation system with an anti-spoofing
module-compliant embedded Global Positioning System (GPS).
